After decades of collecting, restoring, and playing guitar, my eye is drawn to the way time shapes an instrument: the shift in lacquer, the warmth of aged wood, the aging of metal, and the unmistakable feel of a neck that feels like it was made for your hands. Originality and authenticity matter to me, as do tasteful upgrades and the small details that make a guitar genuinely exceptional.As my own collection grew, I realized something many collectors know but rarely address: keeping track of a serious collection is difficult.
